    Save The Bees

Bees and other pollinators are critical, yet our wild bees are in decline.

We rely so heavily on these beautiful insects, over one third of everything we eat would disappear from our tables without our pollinating insects.

“If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe, then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees = no more pollination = no more plants = no more animals = no more man“ Albert Enstein

Britain’s Honeybee colonies are now increasing thanks to the increasing number of British hobby beekeepers. You can bee the change…….

If beekeeping is not for you, then why not play your part by:

    • Plant a garden

    • Planting wildflowers and bee friendly plants

    • Stop the use of pesticides in your garden

    • Build a bee hotel

    • Shop local and buy organic

    • Eat seasonally

We can learn such a lot from these beautiful creatures including:

    • Team work – Bees go about their tasks in relative independence, but they know it’s best to work in a team

    • Efficient and harmonious – supporting one another for mutual benefit

    • Bees, through complex and patient communication, work together to ensure that their colony thrives

    • Organisational efficiency

    • Natures architects

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a beekeeper?

Perhaps you are simply curious to learn more about bees, then our courses could be perfect for you or even as a gift for yourself or others.
