Bring your class or group closer to the hive with a hands-on beekeeping session from Ramsbottom Honey.

Led by Ruth and Brendan — both British Beekeepers’ Association members, with over 15 years’ hands-on experience — our Bee Discovery Experience sessions are designed to spark real curiosity about bees, not just deliver facts.

Suitable for schools, nurseries, Scouts, Brownies, and other youth groups, each session runs for a morning or afternoon and accommodates up to two groups of around 15 children.

Sessions are hands-on wherever it’s safe to be, with an optional live observation hive so your group can safely watch real bees at work.

All equipment, resources, and public liability cover are included.

Half-day sessions start from £350 — get in touch to check availability and find the right fit for your group.
